As the CEO of Total Teamwork Training LLC, Laura designs and oversees the development of dog/owner training and behavior, educational programs and classes as well as outreach programs for communities in Northwest Colorado. Her company includes six instructors and interns. Offering continuing education workshops, Laura works closely with her staff to maintain the highest and most current standards in training and professional ethics in all aspects of client/student/pet relationships. She works privately with in home training and behavior modification programs and visits schools promoting positive training methods. She also provides court ordered behavior evaluations and acts as an advocate for dogs in trouble with the law.

With her English Springer Spaniel, Callie, she competed in AKC obedience trials, tracking trials and agility competitions in past years. Currently she is training with her Rat Terrier, Skippy, earning an AKC Canine Good Citizen award, Therapy Dog International certification, Delta Society certification and an AKC Rally Novice title. Laura and Skippy volunteer in a school reading program for children.

Laura has earned her CPDT-KA credentials through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. She is also an AKC Canine Good Citizen and AKC Puppy S.T.A.R. evaluator. She is a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), and has published articles in "The APDT Chronicle of the Dog". She stays current in her knowledge base with continued study, attendance and participation in workshops, seminars and college level classes in the field of canine behavior, learning, consulting and teaching. She currently serves on the Education Committee for the IAABC.

Jim Barry, CPDT, CDBC, is Chair of the Ethics Committee. He is the owner and principal training instructor at Reston Dog Training, LLC, in Northern Virginia. He is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultantalso has the designation of Certified Professional Dog Trainer (Knowledge Assessed) from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. He is also a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). Jim has been editor of the ethics column for the APDT newsletter and manager of the tutorial case study program for members of IAABC. Jim has served on APDT's Member Relations and Communications Committee and Education Committee. He is author of The Ethical Dog Trainer (Dogwise, 2008) and co-author of Positive Gun Dogs: Clicker Training for Sporting Breeds (Sunshine Books, 2007). Prior to opening Reston Dog Training, Jim conducted training and behavior programs for family dogs in Southern New England through his company R. I. Dog Guy, LLC. Jim is a former federal government executive and university professor. In addition to his dog training activities, Jim is a senior fellow at the Center for International Development and Conflict Management of the University of Maryland, where he conducts research on international issues and teaches programs in negotiation and crisis leadership.

Barbara Davis, CPDT-KA, CDBC is a dog trainer and behavior consultant in Corona, CA. Barbara owns and operates BADDogsInc, specializing in the family companion dog practice and rescue dog rehabilitation. Barbara is a member of the APDT Communication Corps, a former member of the APDT Think Tank, has been certified as a dog behavior consultant by IAABC, where she is a founding member. She currently serves as President of the Golden Retriever Club of Greater Los Angeles Rescue (www.grcglarescue.org), one of the largest canine rescues in the region. Vera E. Wilkinson CDBC, CPDT is the owner and sole operator of The Cooperative Dog, a Brookline Ma based dog training and behavior consulting business founded in 1996. Vera's work on behalf of dogs is a full-time. She meets with clients in their homes throughout Boston, Greater Boston and the Metro West Area. An active outdoors woman, Vera has spent thousands of hours with dogs doing obedience, sheepherding, agility, tracking, camping, hiking, swimming and much more.

She offers private lessons packages and teaches a variety of indoor and outdoor classes: puppy to advanced obedience; beginner to competition agility; tricks and games; nose work, and rowdy rovers. Education is the primary focus of her work with animals and their people. She offers dog behavior seminars and workshops and mentors several dog trainers and aspiring dog behavior consultants around the country. She is a regular in-studio guest on WBZNEWS RADIO's Night Side with Dan Rea show offering dog training and behavioral advice to callers.

Continuing education is her top priority and includes regular attendance at seminars and conferences. Vera is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC), a Certified Pet dog Trainer (CPDT), an AKC Canine Good Citizen Approved Evaluator, a Licensed Dogs & Storks Presenter, and a Professional Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.
