The ARC is the committee assigned to evaluating all applicants for Associate Certification and Full Certification. Applications are received anonymously, and the reviewers score the application against a rubric designed to assess both practical experience and the critical thinking skills of the applicant.

The Education Committee processes and reviews each application for continuing education units from education providers. They also communicate with other organizations for approval of courses and submission of continuing education units for those who have taken qualifying courses. Most importantly, the IAABC Education Committee provides a friendly point of contact for education providers, members, and non-members who have any event application or education-related questions.
The Ethics Committee reviews and thoroughly researches any complaints submitted regarding members in good standing in the organization. In the even that violations are found, the Committee acts in accordance with the Ethics Policy Guidelines of the IAABC.
The Facebook Chat Committee organizes and provides assistance, moderating and facilitation of our multi-species public chats.
The Mentoring Committee is tasked with developing mentoring opportunities within the IAABC.
The Veterinary Outreach Committee networks with the veterinary community to help forge professional bonds and awareness between the medical community and the IAABC.
