IAABC Credentials
The IAABC offers internationally recognized animal training and behavior consulting credentialing examinations for several species and specialties. Obtaining an IAABC credential indicates a superior level of knowledge as well as skill in practical application of behavior change principles following LIMA-based strategies. IAABC credentials are written examinations scored by a team of scorers who have taken and passed the same credential with a high score. Answers are graded against a rubric for objective review. When you earn an IAABC credential, you earn the right to proudly represent yourself as one of the most qualified practitioners in the world.
Credentialing examinations are available to all members of the IAABC by clicking the Credentialing tab in the IAABC Member Dashboard. If you are not a member yet and would like to earn a credential, your first step will be to join as a Supporting Member. We encourage you to read about our credentialing requirements and process before joining.
