The IAABC welcomes individuals aged 18 and older, as well as organizations, to join our international community of animal behavior professionals. Whether you're just getting started, currently studying, running a business, or looking to grow your skills, we offer membership options designed to support every stage of your professional journey. Student Membership
Student Membership is $50 USD/year for individuals currently enrolled in a qualifying academic or trade program related to animal behavior. It includes most Supporting Member benefits, excluding voting rights. Applicants must be 18+, provide enrollment proof, and agree to the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

Supporting Membership
Supporting Membership is $100 USD/year and is the most common entry point. It’s ideal for individuals beginning or currently working in the field. Members receive full access to IAABC resources, networking, and eligibility to apply for credentials.

Credentialed Membership
Credentialed Membership is $150 USD/year for those who pass an IAABC professional exam. This level provides professional recognition, full benefits, and permission to use IAABC credentials.

Organizational Membership
Organizational Membership is $275 USD/year and includes one Supporting Member. It’s designed for legally operating businesses and nonprofits. Additional staff can be added at a 25% discount. Organizations receive access to credentialing discounts and IAABC branding use.
