Continuing Education
Continuing education is at the core of the IAABC’s mission to support animal behavior professionals. As the field evolves, we provide our members with opportunities to stay current, deepen their expertise, and expand their skills. Through credentialing, access to courses, and a strong focus on professional growth, the IAABC helps members meet the demands of a dynamic and evolving industry.
Continuing Education Policy
IAABC credentialed members are required to complete 36 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) every three years. This requirement encourages ongoing learning through a variety of educational formats, including live and online courses, published work, and teaching opportunities. Approved CEU Listings
The IAABC maintains a regularly updated list of independent continuing education opportunities that have been reviewed and approved for CEU credit. These courses support members in meeting their CEU requirements and advancing their knowledge across a variety of species and specialties. IAABC Foundation
The IAABC Foundation offers members additional support in their continuing education journey. Members receive discounts on Foundation-hosted courses and events, along with free access to a growing collection of recorded webinars.
