Description: This 9-hour program will provide participants with an overview of adult learning principles, the ADDIE model for instructional design, and large and small groups facilitation principles. This program consists of three, 3-hour live and interactive sessions. At the end of this program, pet professionals will be able to apply the content learned to enhancing small and large group classes as well as educational program design and content for pet owners, staff, and volunteers. Please note that each session builds on the next. You must complete Session 1: Adult Learning prior to Session 2: Addie; and complete Sessions 1 & 2 before Session 3: Facilitation fundamentals. However, you can mix Summer sessions with Winter sessions. Each session will require participants to engage in active discussion and activities and will not be recorded.
