Continuing Education
Continuing education helps IAABC credentialed members maintain their credentials and stay current with advances in animal behavior consulting and training. Certified and accredited members earn 36 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) every three years and record them in their IAABC member account. Below, you'll find how to add your CEUs, where to earn them, and how to offer CEUs as a provider.
How to Add CEUs to Your Account
Log in to your member account to record your Continuing Education Units. When you complete an approved course or event, the provider will give you a CEU code to enter in your account.

What Counts Toward My CEUs?
Certified and accredited members must complete 36 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) every three years. The CEU Policy explains which activities count, how CEUs are tracked, and what's needed to renew your credential.
Where to Earn CEUs
Approved Courses
Browse courses and events that have been reviewed and approved for IAABC CEU credit.
Community Events
Your membership includes live community events and recordings of past events. See what's coming up on the events calendar, or log in to watch past recordings.
IAABC Foundation Courses
The IAABC Foundation offers webinars included with your membership, plus discounted courses on a variety of species and specialties. The IAABC Foundation's learning site uses a separate login from your IAABC membership login.
Education Hosts
If you offer educational courses or events, you can apply to have them reviewed for IAABC CEU approval. New providers should create a host account before submitting their first course or event. Existing hosts can log in to submit more.
