IAABC Refund & Cancellation Policy

The IAABC offers a 48 hour refund policy for purchases in limited scenarios.

General refund requests

New members can request cancellation of their membership for a refund up to 48 hours after member dues are paid. After 48 hours have expired, membership may still be canceled upon request, however any dues paid will not be refunded. Individuals who purchase a credentialing application may request cancellation of their application for a refund up to 48 hours after the purchase is made, provided they have not passed the endorsements phase of the application in this time frame.

Applications that have passed the endorsement phase cannot be refunded. IAABC will deduct an administrative fee of $25 from all membership or credentialing application refunds requested. Members who selected the wrong application and intend to open another one may contact info@iaabc.org for a discount code to offset this fee.

You must write to info@iaabc.org from the email address in your IAABC account to request a refund. Refund requests cannot be accepted through social media or through the website chat team.

Emails will be time stamped and IAABC will honor all refund requests within the 48 hour window based on the time the request was submitted. These refunds within policy do not need to be approved by the ED. The refund will be automatically issued to the original form of payment.

We are not able to send refunds via another method e.g. PayPal, Venmo. The refund request will be acknowledged upon receipt. It may take up to 2 weeks to complete processing based on IAABC staff’ workload.

Refunds are not available for requests submitted past the 48 hour cancellation window. 

Refund requests from individuals in sanctioned countries In compliance with OFAC regulations, individuals who live in Venezuela, Cuba, Syria, the Crimea region of Ukraine, and the Russian Federation are subject to current sanctions and are not allowed to apply for membership. If any individual living inside these countries attempts to register for IAABC membership, credentialing or certification, IAABC will cancel the registration and will not offer a refund.

Application Refund Policy

If you have opened this application in error, you can request cancellation of the application for a refund up to 48 hours after payment as long as you have not passed the endorsement phase. After the 48 hours have passed, no refunds can be processed. You must write to info@iaabc.org from the email address in your IAABC account within 48 hours of payment to request a refund. The IAABC will deduct a $25 administrative fee from any refunds. If you accidentally selected the wrong application and intend to open a different one, contact us at info@iaabc.org for a discount code that will waive this fee. The refund request will be acknowledged upon receipt. It may take up to 2 weeks to complete processing based on IAABC volunteers’ workload. The refund will be automatically issued to the original form of payment. We are not able to send refunds via another method. After 48 hours have expired, payments cannot be refunded.
